Congratulations on your upcoming engagement! Custom designing your engagement ring is an exciting process that allows you to create something truly special and unique for your partner. Here are 7 things you should know about custom designing your engagement ring:

1. Do your research: You’ll want to have a good idea of the style, budget, and materials you’d like to use before you start the customizing process.

2. Find a reputable jeweler: Look for a jeweler who has experience designing custom engagement rings and who can help guide you through the process.

3. Consider the 4 C’s: When you’re custom designing your ring, you’ll want to consider the 4 C’s of diamond quality: cut, clarity, color, and carat weight.

4. Choose the right metal: You’ll need to decide which type of metal you’d like your ring to be crafted from, such as platinum, white gold, yellow gold, or rose gold.

5. Select a setting: You’ll have to decide which type of setting you’d like for your diamond or gemstone, such as prong, bezel, or pave.

6. Personalize it: You can add a special touch to your ring with engraving, special stones, or other custom details.

7. Get it appraised: Make sure to get your ring appraised by a professional jeweler before you wear it, so you know its true value.

We hope these tips help you as you begin the custom design process. Best of luck and congratulations again!
